Today was a special day as we had a live meet-up for regulars of #thebreakfastclub (Twitter group who come together every weekday for morning motivation). We met in Milton Keynes for coffee and conversation and we buzzed! What made this extra special for me was looking at this amazing group of people and knowing they might never have met had it not been for an amazing team; a team I’m thrilled to be part Of.
The breakfast club was created by Jayne Cox, and she put together the team of Trolley Dollies, Lisa Settle, Liz Bisson and me. We make a choice every weekday morning to welcome the day with people by offering a “hug in a mug” from 6.45-8am. The Twitter chatter is amazing and many people tell us it is the morning motivaton that kick-starts their day.
This choice, to make the commitment to start other people’s day with some positive energy has created results far beyond our expectations – the live meet-up today confirmed this. The relationships being formed, the wonderful people who are now connecting, the people who tell us we have transformed their mornings – these are all happening because we made a choice and followed it up with action – every day.
Thank you #thebreakfastclub regulars who attended the meet up today; you reminded me that I made a great choice. I’m so proud to be part of this team.
